Eileen Nelson, 66, missing from Second Avenue/Country Club area of Mesa, police say

Update: “Eileen Mary Nelson has been located in Tempe and is safe and sound,” Mesa police said in a press release May 7.

Mesa police are seeking the location of Eileen Mary Nelson, 66, who has dementia and has been missing since May 6 from the area of Second Avenue and Country Club Drive. Her turquoise beach cruiser bike is also missing, police said.

She is described as white, with auburn hair and blue eyes. She is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 124 pounds. She was possibly last seen wearing a long-sleeve purple shirt. She has a tattoo of a flower on her left shoulder.

Ms. Nelson knows her name and address but most likely will not ask for help, police said.
