A Luna Landing event hosted by Mesa City Councilman David Luna to provide information about the community was held 7:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 2, at Fire Station No. 214, 5950 E. Virginia St. in Mesa.
Mesa Fire Department firefighters and volunteers cooked pancakes, sausages, chorizo and eggs on a mobile grill for a breakfast just outside the fire station’s truck bays. See above for a slideshow of photos, and below for videos of the firefighters cooking and of where people were sitting to eat. (Photos and video by Richard H. Dyer, Independent Newsmedia Inc. USA.)
