The Mesa Public Schools Governing Board, superintendency, teachers, principals, friends and family celebrated the success and achievements of six Mesa students at the Feb. 10 board meeting.
Mesa students are honored each month from elementary, junior and high schools in celebrating success across the district.
Using the criteria of high achievement in academics, sports, leadership, the arts and other activities, students of the month are selected by their teachers and principal, according to a press release.
In addition to congratulations from district officials, students of the month receive videos, tributes, plaques and photos from Mesa Public Schools and gift cards from the Mesa Foundation for Educational Excellence.
