Eat at participating Mesa Chick-fil-A locations on Tuesday, April 21, to support the Mesa Foundation for Educational Excellence.
Chick-fil-A restaurants hosting the Mesa Public Schools spirit day are: Mesa Riverview, 905 N. Dobson Road; Stapley Drive, 1664 S. Stapley Dr.; and Superstition Springs, 6555 E. Southern Avenue Ste. 2012.
Ten percent of all sales will go to the Mesa Foundation for Educational Excellence’s Minigrant fund for teachers, according to a press release.
“A teacher can apply for up to $1,000 to purchase materials, support innovative projects and simply enhance the education of our students,” said Darlene Brinkerhoff, executive director of Mesa Foundation for Educational Excellence, in the release. “We are grateful to Chick-fil-A for supporting our students and teachers. This Spirit Day gives families a fun and yummy way to give back to their local schools.”
Each participating restaurant will host their own events, including exciting activities, games and photo opportunities with the Chick-fil-A cow mascot.
The Mesa Independent is available in Mesa and Maricopa County
