Drive-through Salad and Go restaurants with outdoor seating at 5259 E. Brown Road in Alta Mesa and 245 S. Power Road will be discussed at the Tuesday, Jan. 13, meeting of the Mesa Design Review Board. The board will consider the look and landscaping for both sites at a meeting that begins at 4:30 p.m. in the lower-level Mesa City Council Chambers, 57 E. First St.
The board will also review the 245 S. Power Road application to determine if multiple-colored bands proposed on the building provide commercial identification that constitute a sign or serve as architectural embellishment to the building. Sake H. Reindersma of SRA 360 is the applicant and Tony Christofellis of And Go Concepts is the owner.
Alta Mesa Salad LLC is the applicant and owner of the 5259 E. Brown Road site, according to the agenda for the meeting.
Salad and Go restaurants have no interior seating and sell salads, wraps, beverages and breakfast items, according to the website.

- the proposed housing product of a new KB Home subdivision of Higley Heights on the northwest corner of Higley and Brown roads. Andy Baron of KB Home is the applicant and Eric Kough of KB Home is the owner.
- the look and landscaping for a 21.5-acre Metro East Valley Commerce Center on the north side of the 500 through 800 blocks of East Auto Center Drive.
- a proposed 20.2-acre industrial plant expansion for Specialty Devices Inc. at 4558 E. Virginia St. Bobby L. Magness of Weiss Magness Architects Inc. is the applicant and Bob Daigneautt of Special Devices Inc. is the owner.
